Hi. sorry it took so long to get you some pics of Scooby Too. Scooby is our 4th great dane. He is without a doubt, the sweetest and most even tempered dane I have met. He has love and kisses for everyone he meets , even our grumpy cat. After only 2 pee accidents his first week he is now completely housebroken. Scooby shares a bedroom with our 4 yr old english bulldog Knuckles. They are loving brothers. Scooby loves to dig holes , chase squirrels and do other puppy stuff in our 3/4 acre fenced back yard. He will start obedience classes next month. Scooby is now 67 lbs and 26" at the shoulder. He has really filled the hole in our hearts that was left when our beloved Hudson passed. Thank you very much for such a wonderful dog. Scooby is still very active , but he is so gentle that you don't seem to notice it. Jan

Quality breeder, excellent temperment dogs!!
3 Months ago we purchased a great dane puppy from Tribledanes. He is our 5th and best dane. Our Scooby Too is sweet, even tempered and very gentle. He gets along well with our persian cat and english bulldog. He has been a real joy in our lives. He has been very healthy, and arrived with no fleas, worms , paracites or any other problems that are common in young puppies. Cathy and Crystal of Tribledanes have been very helpful and supportive since our purchase of Scooby. If I were to purchase another dane it would be from them. Once you meet in person the mom and dad of this litter you will understand why I recommend them so highly.

I would have cried, too! I get so emotional over things like this! In fact, I actually did cry when I first saw him at the airport. He is just so beautiful and sweet and we love him so much already!! He seems to be adjusting well and loves his new brothers and sisters! He follows our daughter around, too. It is so cute!! We are taking him to the pet store today to get him a new collar (the one we have for him won't adjust to a small enough size, so we'll save that for when he gets bigger) and let him pick out some more toys. He did really well last night, he fell asleep on the living room floor around 11:00 (those were the pics we sent last night) and we put him in his bed around midnight. He slept until 6:15 and then got up to go potty and have his first feeding. He hasn't had one accident in the house yet, comes to us when we call him, and will sit when we touch his backside and give the command. He is so smart and is learning very quickly. You guys should be proud! You have raised him well, that is obvious to us! Thank you so much again for bringing him into our lives, we couldn't be happier!! I have attached some new pics from this morning. Enjoy!!

Hi, Guys! Here are some new pics of Gatsby and his brother and sister training with Daddy!! He is getting so big!! Our vet loves him and thinks he is just gorgeous (which, of course, he is!!). Hopefully, his ears won't take long to stand on their own. I'll take more pics on Sunday when we take his bandages off so you can see how they are progressing. I don't know if Frank told you, but, Gatsby will shake hands on command now, too! He is sooooooooooooooo smart! I have never seen an 11 week old puppy learn to shake (or even sit for that matter, which he has been doing for a while now!). We think he is gifted!! :) LOL Talk to you soon!!! |

Hi, guys!! Congratulations on the newest additions to your family!! They are absolutely gorgeous!! I'm in love with female #4! I'm trying to talk Frank into another one. He thinks it's too early and that we should wait until Gatsby is a little bit older, but I don't know if I can wait that long! Give Shashonnee a kiss for us and tell her we said congratulations!
Gatsby had his first formal obedience training session today and the trainer said he is exceptional! He thinks Gatsby is just beautiful (which he is!!) and said his temperament is wonderful! He has another session next weekend, so we'll let you know how it goes.
Talk to you soon!

Have I told you lately what a genious Zander is? I swear, he is the smartest dog in the world! Besides learning the basic commands VERY quickly, like stay there, etc. anything I teach him, he learns after I tell him a couple times. He knows how to give a high five! I was watching a repeat of Regis and Kelly, and Kellys dog did a high five. I said, how cute! I put my hand up and told Zander to give me a high five and he did!!! And he does it everytime you tell him to. I'm trying to teach him to hold a treat on his nose, then on command throw it up in the air and catch it. I'm not sure how tho. I've got him where he'll hold still so the treat doesn't fall off his nose, and twice he almost threw it in the air and caught it, but he's figured out when I give the command, all he has to do is lower his nose, the treat falls to the floor, and he gets it. Haha, so cute. His so adorable. Maybe if I don't breed him I can find someone with GOOD pedigrees, and I WILL check them this time, to stud him out and I can get a puppy. If not, I'll be back for one of Porters......

We are so happy we have Henry! If we ever bought another Dane it would be from Tribledanes! We will never buy another Dane from any other breeder. Henry is the most well behaved dog ever. He was potty trained when we got him and he has never snapped, growled or tried to bite anybody. He is the sweetest thing you will ever meet we are so pleased with him. He is so great with everybody even little kids he loves to play with them and he listens to every command we tell him, and every time we give him a bath trim his nails or do anything he doesn't fight us at all. He is a very fast learner we can teach him a trick in about 5 to 10 min they are really smart dogs. Thanks for giving us the best dog in the whole world we couldn't be more pleased with him.

I just wanted to write and let everyone know what a great experience we have had with our Tyson. I looked at a lot of breeders on the internet to find the perfect dane. When I found Tribledanes webpage and read all the information they put on there, I was very impressed! The love and care you guys take in your dogs is extraordinary. The puppies were gorgous in their weekly pictures, and it was very nice to see such great pictures of the mom and dad, too. This was the first time I had bought a dog over the internet, but Crystal and Cathy were exceptionally straight forward and honest, I never had any doubts. And when we got to the airport and saw our puppy---I cried. He was the most beautiful puppy I have ever seen. He was so sweet smelling, and friendly from the first second. He amazed everyone with how smart he is. He was already housebroken and learns new tricks in about 5 minutes. When I took him to our local vet, he said "WHERE did you GET that dog? I've seen every dane around here and there is none like him!" He is now almost 7 months old and is so much a part of our family that I can't imagine life without him. He is very gentle and calm and loves everyone. He loves to go by-by. We take him camping and he stays right with us or walks along side of us without a leash. He won't leave our campsite without us, it's great and nobody can believe it! The bottom line is if you are looking for a great loyal pet, you won't go wrong with one of Tribledanes puppies.

Well, we truly believe she is an angel----she's captured our hearts and her feet have rarely touched the ground! She went into the hotel room like she'd done it one hundredtimes before------she slept with Stephen and me and cuddled all night long. Whimpered just a bit but was easily calmed. When she got to our house, she ran through the gardens, picking one (or 20) of each flower!! she looked so beautiful and totally happy---she has a huge basket of toys and 3 warm snuggly beds ------one on the screen porch and two inside---she's taken right to the couch and I'm sure will be sleeping with Stephen and me----or one of the boys------know that your angel has found an earthly home and we adore our sweet Ponca-------after losing our Boudreaux we were in desparate need of an Angel!
Took us a long time to get home we kept stopping and playing in parks on the way home----we just got here about 30 minutes ago------
Thank you for raising such a sweet heart------

Funny that you should mention Pocahontas, I had a weimeraner years ago named Pocahontas---we called her Poco-----that's why she wasn't Poco!! She has been adjusting nicely---today she met Mark---our mailman----he loved Boudreaux so much and vice versa----he always stopped and played with Boudreaux----and today he put down the mail and formally greeted our Ponca-----he's such a great guy and always want the dogs not to bark at the mailman!! We have a stream of friends coming by tonight----I'll bet i had about 12 messages yesterday wanting to know when we'd be home---I just told everyone we got home late----just wanted a nice quiet welcome home for her----one of our cats, Zydeco, was very nice and happy to greet Ponca---the little one isn't sure yet!
You are more than welcome to use anything we've written on your website------you raise beautiful well adjusted dogs and anyone would be lucky to live with one-----my boys marveled at her clean pink ears!! She slept well last night cuddled between my husband and me-----she woke up full of life and love for everyone around her!! what a joy for my teenage son's to wake up to Ponca kisses!! She came in the shower with me this morning and got drenched---but didn't seem to care---just wandered on around the bathroom looking for mischief!! We took a short walk to meet the 2 year old neighbor, Beatrice---she loves Ponca and they will be fast friends-----
She's asleep on the loveseat in the kitchen--------I hope to send you pictures of Ponca and her new home tomorrow-------
and hope your weather is as wonderful as ours!
talk soon----Jet |

Took her to the vet yesterday and she was the hit of the day! Sonya, our vet, said she was the healthiest puppy she'd ever seen---everyone marveled at her sweet disposition and she got the grand tour of the office---one of the vets was doing surgery and hollered out--let me see her----then i heard him say--"look at the size of those paws!!" she is so well behaved everywhere we've been---we went to see my mother and dad yesterday---Mom was so in love----she had to hold her while Ponca slept! and then she wanted pictures of herself and Ponca!! today, we are going up to Stephen's law office---his assistant is crazy about dogs and called Tuesday to see when we were coming up---I wanted to wait until she was rested and acclimated to our home first----but she's just taken to life here with a joyous passion!
We feel so lucky to have found you both and your well cared for sweet puppy---our Ponca!
She sleeps with Stephen and me every night--- she just snuggles in and wakes up when we do----couldn't ask for a better transition!! and the potty training is going quite well----

I have pics and will try to get those to you soon----she loved laying in the warm sand and digging in it too----she would stalk the shore birds and then crawl across the sand---like they couldn't see her-----then pounce and chase----
better go for now----as she has pulled her leash down twice----ready to go for a hike in the woods!!!

Hey Crystal!!!
Ponca is doing great! she's loved our snowfall----she lays in it and eats the snow---she's become quite the clown and loves it when everyone laughs at her! Ponca weighs 112 pounds and is 36 inches at the shoulder----she and I go on an hour to an hour and a half walks in the woods everyday---she runs and chases squirrels and plays in the creek----occasionally we run into a dog friend or two that she plays with. Her best pal, Hayes the boxer moved to Puerto Rico ----but she has Astro the golden retriever and a rodesian ridgeback that she loves to romp in the woods with. She's going to the beach in June and to the Buffalo River with us in March.
I can't find the cord to download pics right now but she has turned into quite the beauty---we get cars stopping all the time to ask about her----and she is as sweet as she is beautiful!
She loves all the boys' friends----get's so excited when we have a housefull of monkey business!! Ponca is laying by a big fire snoozin right now ----know that she is having a wonderful full much loved life. Thank you for being such good and responsible breeders.

Cathy & Crystal,
Just wanted to give you an update on Copper and let you know how he's doing. Copper is doing awesome, growing like a weed but much bigger, and he's the sweetest and most loving Dane. He is truly a momma's boy! He's all about my daughter (that's his momma) and is on her every move. We have always said Copper has such a great temperament, but we recently found out first hand how well tempered he truly is. When we had to bring Corn & Teansie back home to us, we were worried about Copper and Corn getting along with them both being males and both being "intact", but we soon found out we had no reason to worry. Copper loves his girls and loves this family. He truly is the "king" around here. No matter where we go, if we have Copper with us heads turn and jaws drop. Everyone just loves him, and can't say enough good things about him. The cutest thing is when Copper and Otto, our toy poodle, play it's so cute, he's so gentle with him. We can't thank yall enough for allowing us to share our home and our love with this magnificent Dane. You guys are amazing and we love yall so much. We will give Copper big hugs and kisses from all of you!!

Dear Cathy and Crystal,
Kavin is 3 and he gets along very well with Tiny. He had his friend Raymond over for a play date yesterday and at first Raymond was scared of Tiny and then when he had about 5 minutes with him then he started to call Tiny "silly doggy". Tiny enjoys the kids playground and he goes down the slide and plays in the sandpit with the kids. Tiny has his best friend Zor with him (the St. Bernard). Both breeds are excellent with children.
Tiny is also a great security dog. He is always on guard in the evening between 1a-4a. If he hears anything he immediately goes out to the yard and lets any strangers know that he is there.
One nice extra benefit of having a Great Dane is that he does baby sit Kavin (I'm watching him too but when I do yard work it is a benefit that he is there for backup). He doesn't let him out of his sight and when Kavin walks in the yard (1 acre) he stays with him and if anyone gets near the fence, Tiny lets them know to walk away.
Tiny also enjoys a lot of hugs and kisses. He gets them from all of us and the pack. Incase any of your buyers are concerned about little dogs, Tiny respects both of the little ones and plays with them gently. My friend brought her golden retriever puppy over for a play date yesterday and the whole pack greeted him and they had a great time.
He also enjoys family movie time where we bring the pack into the media room and as a family we sit down and watch a movie together. He really is wonderful and we love him very much.
Thank you,
Lisa

Cathy & Crystal;
I've wanted a Great Dane since I've been a child, so when it came time at age 62 to make that childhood fantasy a reality, I spent a lot of time looking for the right breeder and the right puppy. I looked at hundreds of puppies on the internet and was impressed with your website. I could tell that your puppies were "family" to you and that you were just as particular about potential buyers as we were about the breeder. I must say that from the beginning, the process of working with you has been a great experience. You kept us informed all through Shay's pregnancy and after Bo's birth were so gracious to keep us updated with photos and personal information about his growth until he could come home to us. You were so patient to answer my numerous questions - before AND after the purchase. The love and care you gave to him in those important first formative weeks has paid off as we couldn't ask for a more wonderful pet. Bo is calm (OK - as much as a puppy can be), intelligent and loving. He is wonderful with our grandchildren and has learned everything so quickly at his training class. At only three months of age, Bo sits, comes, lies down, "leaves it", and does loose leash walking like a champ. He potty trained almost immediately and loves to ride in the car. I cannot say enough good things about him. The combination of good genetics and good breeders has blessed us with a wonderful family pet that more than fulfills my childhood dream. I know his good beginning with you made all the difference in the world. Thank you so much for your hard work. Please feel free to use us as a reference for anyone who might have questions.
Sincerely,
Harriett & Dick

Crystal and Cathy, Cheryl and I wanted to take a moment to tell you how lucky we feel to have found you. You are absolutely the best breeders in the world in our opinions, and we could not be happier. Even before we met you both, Cheryl and I knew you two were special. You have an amazing amount of knowledge and a true love for your pups. We like to ask a lot of questions, so thank you very much for your knowledgeable answers. From diet to health to those things only true Dane lover's know, you are invaluable and the first people we turn to when we have a question or are looking for a knowledgeable opinion. We could not be happier with Finn, he came to us a happy, healthy, and confident little guy and that only comes from a breeder that really cares about those important first few months, especially in terms of a pups personality and well being. I cant resist bragging about Finn a little, especially since you two had so much to do with his natural poise and good looks :) We take Finn out daily for socialization, usually to the pet supply or home improvement store (his favorite btw, it's a guy thing I guess). You would be amazed at how many people come up to us, complimenting Finn on his poise, his posture and his calm nature. Finn aced his training classes as you may know, the head trainer called him "royalty", "a natural leader", the assistant trainer adopted him as her personal favorite. He learns very quickly and we are looking forward to starting his Canine Good Citizen training soon. Invariably the people we meet ask where we found such a beautiful dog, so we are spreading the word about Trible Danes. We really believe you two are the best breeders around and we are happy to share that with the people we meet. I mention all this because we truly feel that it was your care and expertise as breeders that gave Finn a big head start on life. Thank you so much. Best regards Cheryl & Jeff & Finn |
